I was playing Russian Roulette with my life, every hour.
One year ago today...
I had a $1,200 a day opiate addiction.
One year ago today...
I was lying to the people I love most.
One year ago today...
I had burned every bridge there was in my life.
One year ago today...
The only goal I had was to get high that day.

But...
One year ago today, I also chose to get freedom from every bit of that. I chose to mend relationships with the people I love. I chose to get the chance to be the mommy that my daughter needs me to be. I chose to be the woman God has created me to be... & because of that choice,
I’m celebrating a year sober today
